This project was a proposal to activate an unused urban space. I chose 355 and 378 Van Brunt Street in Brooklyn, NY. They are vacant lots parallel to each other, so I spanned the street with a 'neon'-classical temple that is a bar and lounge. Elevators lift guests on the two sequential arched rails up to the first level open observation deck. Two more elevators deeper off the street lift guests to the second floor enclosed lounge space. Glass between the arched rails for the elevator ark over the majority of the 2 vacant lots and allow for a covered outdoor lounge area. Neon lighting lining architectural elements of the building will give it an ethereal glow at night.

The building was rendered in Sketchup and finished in Enscape and Photoshop.
